Wire EDM TECHNICIAN .

Knowledge:

	1 yrs experience setting up and operating Wire EDM machines.
	Able to read and interpret drawings.
	Conceptual understanding of Dies and Plastic injection molds.

Skills:

	Attention to fine detail.
	Excellent mechanical ability.
	Able to routinely work to close tolerances (.0002").
	Ability to follow verbal instructions.
	Must keep work areas clean and organized.
	Excellent teamwork and communications skills.
	General machine shop skills (milling, grinding, etc).
	Programming experience a plus.
	Knowledge of  the following software VERY HELPFUL: Smartcam Autocad Microsoft Office (Access, Word)

Duties:

	Setup and operate precision Wire EDM machines, select tools, make fixtures.
	Additional duties could include:  General shop maintenance, Machine repair, Occasional delivery.

Working Environment and Physical Conditions:

	Air Conditioned  Shop environment.
	Willing to work overtime.
	Periodically required to lift and move equipment and material up to 50 pounds.
	Ability to work closely with others, and adapt to the constant changes of a growing company.
